Now, just over two months later, our beloved HK BBQ Master is reopened and back in action. The restaurant celebrated its opening over the weekend, showing off a larger dining area and updated interiors. From what we saw, HK has a slightly different look but boasts the same legendary food (and lines of hungry patrons) that we always remembered.

It appears the two visited the restaurant for Chang's new Netflix series, Ugly Delicious, as evidenced by Chang tagging the show in a post praising the old-style barbecue cuisine.

I had read about HK BBQ Master and saw it in countless "Best of B.C." articles and there was no way we were going to miss out on dropping in for a quick meal while on vacation in B.C. We came by at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon and it was exactly what we expected. I had read that the restaurant was located in a parking lot and it was exactly that.
